Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Minas Mallous took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Iraklis's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Kokkalas came free, but Prodromos Poulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thalis Karakonstantinou during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Megadendro BC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Thalis Karakonstantinou hit a great ball. Sotiris Dellios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marios Koumis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Iraklis's Miltiadis Kirmizas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute of the match Evripidis Pentaridis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prodromos Poulis skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Megadendro BC's Isidoros Ofrydopoulos got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes in the game Loukas Gogolos got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Megadendro BC's goalkeeper Marios Koumis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Dellios. Prodromos Poulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Koskinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marios Koumis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sotiris Dellios in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Giannis Kokkalas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prodromos Poulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Giannis Kokkalas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prodromos Poulis was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The supporters of Iraklis booed when Megadendro BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Natsouras didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Iraklis's Sotiris Dellios in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Miltiadis Kirmizas came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Iraklis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miltiadis Kirmizas couldn't finish the play. Marios Koumis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltiadis Kirmizas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Sakis Vryzas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marios Koumis was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Marios Koumis came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Iraklis's Minas Mallous. But to his dismay, Minas Mallous quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. There was no doubt that Iraklis were the better team. Iraklis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
