ASKLIPIOS KOS's Tasos Sitaropoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stathis Tsakouridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Kokkalas in the 7th minute of play. ASKLIPIOS KOS's Tasos Sitaropoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stathis Tsakouridis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giannis Kokkalas went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marios Koumis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thalis Kalikis went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Péter Orbán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tasos Sitaropoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tasos Sitaropoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marios Koumis having to make a save. Tasos Sitaropoulos took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marios Koumis. Marios Koumis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 41st minute, Péter Orbán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ASKLIPIOS KOS's Thalis Kalikis got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thalis Kalikis to strike the kick off in the second half. Péter Orbán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marios Koumis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Kalikis in the 57th minute of play forced Megadendro BC's goalkeeper Marios Koumis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Péter Orbán was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. ASKLIPIOS KOS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 66th minute, Tasos Sitaropoulos made a precise shot to the right of Marios Koumis. Megadendro BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. If Tasos Sitaropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marios Koumis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Kalikis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thalis Kalikis might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marios Koumis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thalis Kalikis ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, ASKLIPIOS KOS's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Koskinas came free, but Stathis Tsakouridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marios Koumis stood somewhat misplaced when Thalis Kalikis came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 77 minute. In the 81st match minute, ASKLIPIOS KOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Eguen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Megadendro BC's Evripidis Pentaridis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Tasos Sitaropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Santiago Rexino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marios Koumis. That made the score 1-6 in the 86 minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Gerasimos Chatzakos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marios Koumis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Megadendro BC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ASKLIPIOS KOS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
