Polichnitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandros Birbilis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aris Digozis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petros Livadaras having to make a save. Polichnitos's Petros Livadaras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aris Digozis in the 46th minute of play.

Makis Komninos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Petros Livadaras made a huge save. Polichnitos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
