Simos Paltoudakis had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Dorotheos Chatzifotis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 89th minute, Konstantinos Papaggelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simos Paltoudakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Giannis Katzos came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the AMSTERDAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Katzos couldn't finish the play.
