Alexandros Birbilis took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theocharis Karavokiris. Theocharis Karavokiris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ignatios Zigourakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Petros Livadaras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Toumbaliban FC's zone, Konstantinos Pavlopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theocharis Karavokiris came out of the goal and Konstantinos Pavlopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandros Birbilis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Theocharis Karavokiris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theocharis Karavokiris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolis Lioutas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Lioutas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alexandros Birbilis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoros Sikalopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petros Livadaras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoros Sikalopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 37 in the game by Alexandros Birbilis from a close distance when the talented Theocharis Karavokiris managed to make a qualified save. Toumbaliban FC's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manolis Lioutas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidoros Sikalopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Livadaras having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Isidoros Sikalopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Konstantinos Pavlopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polichnitos's protests and gave Konstantinos Pavlopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Konstantinos Pavlopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petros Livadaras came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Toumbaliban FC's Isidoros Sikalopoulos. But to his dismay, Isidoros Sikalopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Isidoros Sikalopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theocharis Karavokiris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolis Lioutas in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th play minute Ignatios Zigourakis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Petros Livadaras. 1-2. Viktoras Agapiou kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Stamatis Alexakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theocharis Karavokiris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Polichnitos booed when Toumbaliban FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Sabanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Viktoras Agapiou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theocharis Karavokiris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandros Birbilis in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Toumbaliban FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Kostas Tsekouras hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Toumbaliban FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Birbilis came free, but Theocharis Karavokiris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoros Sikalopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Livadaras having to interfere. Toumbaliban FC's Viktoras Agapiou got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Viktoras Agapiou off the ground. A collision led to Toumbaliban FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Viktoras Agapiou hit a great ball. The Polichnitos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Toumbaliban FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Toumbaliban FC.
