The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Menios Papaggelatos during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ASKLIPIOS KOS booed when panetolikos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menios Papaggelatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pantelis Kissas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Rexino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stathis Tsakouridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Kopidakis in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Alexandros Sapanis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sotiris Kopidakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stathis Tsakouridis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sotiris Kopidakis ran back to his position shaking his head. Pantelis Kissas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Péter Orbán in the 20th minute of the match. When ASKLIPIOS KOS's Thalis Kalikis in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye panetolikos's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute, Tasos Sitaropoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASKLIPIOS KOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tasos Sitaropoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Pantelis Kissas made a huge save. Stathis Tsakouridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Kolokotronis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as ASKLIPIOS KOS's Péter Orbán slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pantelis Kissas. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Thalis Kalikis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but panetolikos's Pantelis Kissas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marinos Kolokotronis made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Péter Orbán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pantelis Kissas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Pantelis Kissas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tasos Sitaropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pantelis Kissas came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ASKLIPIOS KOS's Tasos Sitaropoulos. But to his dismay, Tasos Sitaropoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tasos Sitaropoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pantelis Kissas having to make a save. In the 69th match minute, panetolikos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menios Papaggelatos to maneuver through the defense. Tasos Sitaropoulos took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pantelis Kissas. Pantelis Kissas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Kalikis in the 76th minute of play forced panetolikos's goalkeeper Pantelis Kissas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thalis Kalikis struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Pantelis Kissas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASKLIPIOS KOS. Pantelis Kissas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yücel Arısal in the 84th minute of the match. Pantelis Kissas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tasos Sitaropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sotiris Kopidakis got free with Stathis Tsakouridis in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Marinos Kolokotronis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
