After a rather tough play, Monσdendron's Giannis Voliotis got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Monσdendron's Themistoklis Kabouris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miltos Karanasios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miltos Karanasios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimilios Rasoulis in the 20th minute of the match. Themistoklis Kabouris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Miltos Karanasios skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in GALISSAS FC's zone, Aimilios Rasoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Karanasios came out of the goal and Aimilios Rasoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Miltos Karanasios throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dimosthenis Palatzas in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Aimilios Rasoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miltos Karanasios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakis Tsoris in the 40th minute of play. Miltos Karanasios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimilios Rasoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimos Balafoutis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Medina having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aimilios Rasoulis was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Monσdendron booed when GALISSAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakis Kousis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aimilios Rasoulis took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miltos Karanasios. Miltos Karanasios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Themistoklis Kabouris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monσdendron's supporters rose to their feet, but Themistoklis Kabouris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miltos Karanasios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miltos Karanasios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Themistoklis Kabouris's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Antonis Ignatiou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Aimilios Rasoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miltos Karanasios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themistoklis Kabouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Miltos Karanasios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimos Balafoutis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Medina having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Monσdendron got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Tsoris. Aimilios Rasoulis scored 2-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miltos Karanasios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sakis Tsoris fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monσdendron's protests and gave Sakis Tsoris a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Monσdendron got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Tsoris. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monσdendron fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! The referee gave GALISSAS FC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Petros Likouriotis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monσdendron's Adolfo Medina. 2-1. 92 minutes into the game, Dimosthenis Palatzas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Miltos Karanasios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aimilios Rasoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Miltos Karanasios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dimos Balafoutis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Monσdendron players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
