Spectators: 7875 (Terracing: 5907, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 157) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thanos Velouchiotis started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Juvenal Bittencourt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juhani Eskelinen. The goal made the score 2-0. Alιxandros's Ingmar Haljasorg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanos Velouchiotis in the 17th minute of play. Juhani Eskelinen made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Juvenal Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. Ingmar Haljasorg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Velouchiotis in the 27th minute of play. When Thanos Velouchiotis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Veloϊlion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanos Velouchiotis couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Veloϊlion got a freekick which was hit by Buba Diop. Sotiris Spiliotopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Pol Pogba might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juhani Eskelinen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pol Pogba ran back to his position shaking his head. Sotiris Spiliotopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panos Verginas during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Veloϊlion's Panos Verginas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Kyriakos Stefanopoulos scored 2-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingmar Haljasorg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Pol Pogba made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 庞夕希 during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Alιxandros getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. 庞夕希 hit a great ball. After 59 minutes, Dugald Carbery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alιxandros and the Veloϊlion players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alιxandros fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Juhani Eskelinen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pol Pogba went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Ingmar Haljasorg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanos Velouchiotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Borys Oryniak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alιxandros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Borys Oryniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Bittencourt in the 80th minute of play forced Veloϊlion's goalkeeper Juhani Eskelinen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Veloϊlion's Periklis Varkaris got a free kick in the 85th minute. Thanos Velouchiotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyriakos Stefanopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingmar Haljasorg having to make a save. Veloϊlion's Juhani Eskelinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pol Pogba in the 95th minute of play. Ingmar Haljasorg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanos Velouchiotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Periklis Varkaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Alιxandros were the better team. Alιxandros's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
