Konstantinos Trontzos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aimilios Rasoulis in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Dimosthenis Palatzas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Monσdendron's goalkeeper Adolfo Medina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kostas Savvakos. If Themistoklis Kabouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Trontzos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themistoklis Kabouris in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Monσdendron's Sakis Tsoris got a free kick in the 40th minute. Adolfo Medina was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Nikitas Zolotas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikitas Zolotas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Adolfo Medina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Savvakos in the 46th minute. 49 minutes into the match, Iliσfoton's goal looked a bit too open when Aimilios Rasoulis came free, but Konstantinos Trontzos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikitas Zolotas to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Iliσfoton's goalkeeper Konstantinos Trontzos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Themistoklis Kabouris. 58 minutes into the match, Themistoklis Kabouris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konstantinos Trontzos. Iliσfoton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Themistoklis Kabouris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Monσdendron's Panos Kalabosis got a free kick in the 61st minute. Themistoklis Kabouris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Konstantinos Trontzos made a huge save. If Aimilios Rasoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aimilios Rasoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konstantinos Trontzos having to make a save. Themistoklis Kabouris might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konstantinos Trontzos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Themistoklis Kabouris ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Apostolis Vrasidas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monσdendron's Themistoklis Kabouris got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Themistoklis Kabouris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Konstantinos Trontzos made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Iliσfoton's Apostolis Vrasidas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Iliσfoton's Konstantinos Trontzos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aimilios Rasoulis in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Monσdendron booed when Iliσfoton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolis Vrasidas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
