In the 5th minute, Alekos Kasnakidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Mendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anestis Zisimopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Nektarios Bourlokas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stefanos Peropoulos. The goal made the score 1-0. Nektarios Bourlokas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Peropoulos having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Vrondádhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stathis Maltezakis to maneuver through the defense. Stratos Kalabokis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Theagenis Seitaridis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stefanos Peropoulos firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ's Fanis Fakkas got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nektarios Bourlokas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Vrondádhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Kalabokis. Fanis Fakkas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Peropoulos having to interfere. Fanis Fakkas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Stefanos Peropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nektarios Bourlokas in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefanos Peropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ's Ermegildo Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolis Staboulis in the 62nd minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vrondádhos FC's goalkeeper Stefanos Peropoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vrondádhos FC's Tolis Staboulis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Paris Patsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anestis Zisimopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nektarios Bourlokas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefanos Peropoulos having to interfere. Stathis Maltezakis lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 89th minute, Nektarios Bourlokas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ's attack was well implemented in the 93rd minute, but when Nektarios Bourlokas was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. There was no doubt that ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ were the better team. ΦΟΙΝΙΚΑΣ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
