Konstantinos Velos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Litohoron FC's Eustratios Stabouloglou shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Soulis Trofantos but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Panagopoulos in the 47th minute of play forced Litohoron FC's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Nifitsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Giotis Michas kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the game, SALAMINA's Grigoris Panagopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimosthenis Nifitsas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aggelos Tabakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. The referee ignored SALAMINA's protests and gave Themos Valassoulis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, SALAMINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themos Valassoulis to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Charis Zachopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Aggelos Tabakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimosthenis Nifitsas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, SALAMINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lefteris Tzirakis to maneuver through the defense. When Litohoron FC's Charis Zachopoulos in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SALAMINA's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charis Zachopoulos in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soulis Trofantos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grigoris Panagopoulos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 97th playminute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SALAMINA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
