An unexpectedly hard shot by Themistoklis Kabouris in the 14th minute of play forced SALAMINA's goalkeeper Soulis Trofantos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aggelos Tabakos in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Monσdendron's goalkeeper Adolfo Medina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigoris Panagopoulos. 30 minutes into the match, SALAMINA's goal looked a bit too open when Themistoklis Kabouris came free, but Soulis Trofantos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lefteris Tzirakis kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Monσdendron's goal looked a bit too open when Aggelos Tabakos came free, but Adolfo Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soulis Trofantos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimilios Rasoulis in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 50th minute, Aimilios Rasoulis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Soulis Trofantos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aimilios Rasoulis to strike the kick off in the second half. When Vassilis Voitsidis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, SALAMINA's Vassilis Voitsidis got a free kick in the 57th minute. Themistoklis Kabouris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Themistoklis Kabouris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Themistoklis Kabouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Aimilios Rasoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monσdendron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aimilios Rasoulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Themistoklis Kabouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soulis Trofantos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Themistoklis Kabouris showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. SALAMINA were furious when Theocharis Tsoumas was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 85th minute, one of SALAMINA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SALAMINA. If Aimilios Rasoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Themistoklis Kabouris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monσdendron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themistoklis Kabouris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 100 minutes, Grigoris Panagopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALAMINA and the Monσdendron players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SALAMINA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 99th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 101 minutes, Monσdendron's Pantelis Nastos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Soulis Trofantos. When the match was over Monσdendron could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SALAMINA throughout the match.
