After a defensive mix-up in Litohoron FC's zone, Juvenal Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimosthenis Nifitsas came out of the goal and Juvenal Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alιxandros's Ingmar Haljasorg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Alιxandros from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pol Pogba made a kick off. Ingmar Haljasorg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renos Stathiadis in the 51st minute of the match. Litohoron FC's Dimosthenis Nifitsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Bittencourt in the 54th minute of play. Alιxandros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borys Oryniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Alιxandros fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Alιxandros's Pol Pogba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dimosthenis Nifitsas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juvenal Bittencourt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 80 minute of play. If Borys Oryniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Giotis Michas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Litohoron FC and the Alιxandros players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Alιxandros's Dimosthenis Nifitsas threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pol Pogba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Konstantinos Velos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ingmar Haljasorg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
