After 9 played minutes, Monσdendron's Pantelis Nastos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefanos Peropoulos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monσdendron reached it. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Aimilios Rasoulis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Stefanos Peropoulos to make any attempt to save it. Monσdendron's Adolfo Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolis Staboulis in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Tolis Staboulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vrondádhos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Stathis Maltezakis kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Aimilios Rasoulis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stefanos Peropoulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Aimilios Rasoulis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 27th minute. Themistoklis Kabouris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Stefanos Peropoulos made a huge save. Aimilios Rasoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Vrondádhos FC's goalkeeper Stefanos Peropoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Themistoklis Kabouris. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Aimilios Rasoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monσdendron's supporters rose to their feet, but Aimilios Rasoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefanos Peropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Tolis Staboulis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Medina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

The wind increased when Aimilios Rasoulis made the kick off in the second half. Stratos Kalabokis charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stratos Kalabokis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Vrondádhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Kalabokis. Vrondádhos FC's Stefanos Peropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aimilios Rasoulis in the 53rd minute of play. Themistoklis Kabouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Vrondádhos FC's Stratos Kalabokis got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Monσdendron booed when Vrondádhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Kalabokis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pantelis Nastos, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 64th minute Themistoklis Kabouris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Peropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vrondádhos FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Stratos Kalabokis hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Aimilios Rasoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Peropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Monσdendron booed when Vrondádhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Kalabokis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Vrondádhos FC defense, Themistoklis Kabouris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefanos Peropoulos. The Vrondádhos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefanos Peropoulos should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Themistoklis Kabouris notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Vrondádhos FC's Stefanos Peropoulos. Stefanos Peropoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Themistoklis Kabouris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monσdendron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Monσdendron fully deserved thier win.
