BARCA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xνdhia BC the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, BARCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefanos Balafas to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Pavlos Liolidis managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Xνdhia BC's Stathis Korakis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 7th minute, Stefanos Balafas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes Stathis Korakis rounded BARCA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Pipis Loukidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Pavlos Liolidis made a huge save. Stathis Korakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Liolidis having to interfere. Nontas Skiriotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Balidis having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Eugenios Keris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Pavlos Liolidis managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Xνdhia BC's Pipis Loukidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Xνdhia BC booed when BARCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefanos Balafas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Xνdhia BC's Miltos Kapellos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 32 minutes into the match, BARCA's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Korakis came free, but Pavlos Liolidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pipis Loukidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Pavlos Liolidis made a huge save. With a little luck, BARCA's Pavlos Liolidis got control of the ball when Pipis Loukidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugenios Keris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 52nd minute, Eugenios Keris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kostas Balidis. The goal made the score 1-1. Pavlos Liolidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stathis Korakis in the 56th minute of play. If Pipis Loukidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Eugenios Keris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BARCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenios Keris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes BARCA got a freekick which was hit by Eugenios Keris. BARCA's Pavlos Liolidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Korakis in the 76th minute of play. Stathis Korakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikos Stavrakis's late challenge caught a Xνdhia BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Stavrakis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Nikos Stavrakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xνdhia BC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miltos Kapellos in the 85th minute. If Stathis Korakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavlos Liolidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Kontogiannis in the 96th minute of play. Xνdhia BC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
