In the 14th match minute, Alkolikos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vassilis Kirmizas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Stergios Karvounis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Stergios Karvounis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alekos Agathakoglou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Pachidis. After some careless play in the Alkolikos FC defense, Petros Telakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alekos Agathakoglou. The Alkolikos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alekos Agathakoglou should have stopped the shot. If Stergios Karvounis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fanis Kontoulis charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fanis Kontoulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fanis Kontoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Stergios Karvounis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Agathakoglou having to interfere. If Stergios Karvounis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alekos Agathakoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stergios Karvounis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Petros Telakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alekos Agathakoglou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petros Telakos ran back to his position shaking his head. Alekos Agathakoglou didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panos Koborozos was the one to do the kick off. Menelaos Papaloukas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Koborozos in the 66th minute of play. Alekos Agathakoglou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stergios Karvounis went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Stergios Karvounis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Babbis Bozidis during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Babbis Bozidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Telakos in the 76th minute of play forced Alkolikos FC's goalkeeper Alekos Agathakoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alekos Agathakoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stergios Karvounis in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Koborozos came free, but Menelaos Papaloukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Madrid's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Panos Koborozos 97 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1.
