When Stathis Korakis came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Xνdhia BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stathis Korakis couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Kontogiannis during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sotiris Zaninos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Korakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sotiris Zaninos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stathis Korakis in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stathis Korakis in the 31st minute of play forced 3kala FC's goalkeeper Sotiris Zaninos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pipis Loukidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Sotiris Zaninos made a huge save. Stathis Korakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sotiris Zaninos came out and tried to block the shot, but Stathis Korakis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. If Stathis Korakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xνdhia BC's Iosif Kontogiannis got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Iosif Kontogiannis off the ground. Daniil Moustopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kostas Balidis having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniil Moustopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Evripidis Zaimis fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xνdhia BC's protests and gave Evripidis Zaimis a yellow card for diving instead. Evripidis Zaimis hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Theodosis Siafakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, 3kala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Loukidis came free, but Sotiris Zaninos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniil Moustopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Xνdhia BC's zone, Daniil Moustopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Balidis came out of the goal and Daniil Moustopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Xνdhia BC booed when 3kala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alketas Kouris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Miltos Kapellos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 3kala FC's Sotiris Zaninos didn't even have to move. Pipis Loukidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotiris Zaninos having to interfere. Pipis Loukidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sotiris Zaninos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sotiris Zaninos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Loukidis in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, 3kala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chrisostomos Ouzounidis to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Orestis Karagiotakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kostas Balidis, 2-1. After 93 played minutes 3kala FC got a freekick which was hit by Chrisostomos Ouzounidis. If Pipis Loukidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
