The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Anthimos Massoutas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alekos Agathakoglou. Alkolikos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthimos Massoutas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Panos Koborozos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Makis Karachalios made a kick off. Anthimos Massoutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alekos Agathakoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Alkolikos FC defense, Makis Karachalios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alekos Agathakoglou. The Alkolikos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alekos Agathakoglou should have stopped the shot. ΓΛΥΦΙΔΑ's Christodoulos Bonos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save ΓΛΥΦΙΔΑ from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Alkolikos FC's Vassilis Kirmizas got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Alkolikos FC defense, Anthimos Massoutas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alekos Agathakoglou. The Alkolikos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alekos Agathakoglou should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the ΓΛΥΦΙΔΑ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
