After a defensive mix-up in Palio Kavalas FC's zone, Miltos Seletopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilias Kakaris came out of the goal and Miltos Seletopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giannis Miliokas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Chouliarades's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Giannis Miliokas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Miltos Seletopoulos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Miltos Seletopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miltos Seletopouloss short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Ilias Kakaris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Giannis Miliokas came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Chouliarades fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Miliokas couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fokas Ritsos during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Chouliarades a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alkis Kaloxilos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Palio Kavalas FC's Ilias Kakaris. 1-0. 37 minutes into the game, Kostas Kalouptsidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chouliarades's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palio Kavalas FC the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Chouliarades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Kalouptsidis to maneuver through the defense. Theocharis Zouvelekis came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Palio Kavalas FC's Periklis Kifonidis. But to his dismay, Periklis Kifonidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miltos Seletopoulos got free with Ilias Kakaris in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giannis Miliokas made a kick off. Periklis Kifonidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Makis Schinas got free with Theocharis Zouvelekis in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Miliokas in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilias Kakaris saved Palio Kavalas FC from getting behind. Palio Kavalas FC's Ilias Kakaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Miliokas in the 82nd minute of play. Chouliarades's Theocharis Zouvelekis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Chouliarades from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Telis Raptakis took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Theocharis Zouvelekis to make any attempt to save it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
