Charalambos Passalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofoklis Theodoridis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christos Kalaboukas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazaros Dimitratos in the 8th minute of play forced Othonoí Stadium's goalkeeper Iraklis Valassis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandros Krevetzakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Charalambos Passalis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Othonoí Stadium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandros Krevetzakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lazaros Dimitratos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lazaros Dimitratos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Theofanis Paschalidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lazaros Dimitratos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iraklis Valassis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Kalaboukas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lazaros Dimitratos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iraklis Valassis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Othonoí Stadium's goal looked a bit too open when Lazaros Dimitratos came free, but Iraklis Valassis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sofoklis Theodoridis to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Othonoí Stadium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theofanis Paschalidis to maneuver through the defense. Alexandros Krevetzakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Othonoí Stadium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Lazaros Dimitratos scored to the left of an out of position Iraklis Valassis, making the score, 0-1. Lazaros Dimitratos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alexandros Krevetzakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Othonoí Stadium's Nikitas Nalbantis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DownTown Boys. In the 76th minute Alexandros Krevetzakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charalambos Passalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DownTown Boys's Charalambos Passalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Theodoridis in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DownTown Boys's zone, Alexandros Krevetzakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charalambos Passalis came out of the goal and Alexandros Krevetzakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexandros Krevetzakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lazaros Dimitratos in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iraklis Valassis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Theofanis Paschalidis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Theofanis Paschalidis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Christos Kalaboukas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valerios Liapakis charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valerios Liapakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Valerios Liapakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DownTown Boys's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
