Theocharis Zouvelekis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prodromos Stratakos in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Asteras FC's zone, Giannis Miliokas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaggelos Kakalos came out of the goal and Giannis Miliokas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaggelos Kakalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Miliokas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaios Konstantinou in the 21st minute of play forced Chouliarades's goalkeeper Theocharis Zouvelekis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pavlos Thanopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asteras FC's protests and gave Pavlos Thanopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Asteras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavlos Thanopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Miliokas struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Evaggelos Kakalos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chouliarades. In the 36th minute, Miltos Seletopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chouliarades fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Asteras FC's zone, Miltos Seletopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaggelos Kakalos came out of the goal and Miltos Seletopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Prodromos Stratakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Miliokas charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giannis Miliokas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chouliarades getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Giannis Miliokas hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaios Konstantinou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michalis Tsakarelidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Giannis Miliokas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Evaggelos Kakalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chouliarades's Theocharis Zouvelekis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Chouliarades from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Chouliarades booed when Asteras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Kyriakopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Miliokas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miltos Seletopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaggelos Kakalos having to interfere. Prodromos Stratakos kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Vaios Konstantinou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theocharis Zouvelekis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96thth minute of the game Miltos Seletopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asteras FC's Evaggelos Kakalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chouliarades had played much better football throughout.
