When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Fanis Pesmatzoglou put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ignatios Zabetas. After 44 minutes, Timos Sikalopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOPMUG Niki Volou and the Manogister C.t.W. players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The wind increased when Isidoros Daskalakis made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, TOPMUG Niki Volou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Kastanakis to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikiforos Stergiadis in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christos Solakis saved TOPMUG Niki Volou from getting behind. Christos Solakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoros Daskalakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Antonis Tsatsaronakis came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the TOPMUG Niki Volou fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonis Tsatsaronakis couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Antonis Tsatsaronakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignatios Zabetas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. TOPMUG Niki Volou's Antonis Tsatsaronakis got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Fanis Pesmatzoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOPMUG Niki Volou and the Manogister C.t.W. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TOPMUG Niki Volou's Fanis Pesmatzoglou got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Nikiforos Stergiadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fanis Pesmatzoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignatios Zabetas having to interfere. In the 85th minute Nikiforos Stergiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Solakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Manogister C.t.W.'s Nikiforos Stergiadis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christos Solakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Nikiforos Stergiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Nikiforos Stergiadis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christos Solakis was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. TOPMUG Niki Volou had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
