Spectators: 7831 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 156) After 5 played minutes, Othonoí Stadium's Nikitas Nalbantis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evaggelos Kakalos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Othonoí Stadium reached it. In the 6th minute, Alexandros Krevetzakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Asteras FC's zone, Sofoklis Theodoridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaggelos Kakalos came out of the goal and Sofoklis Theodoridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asteras FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sofoklis Theodoridis 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Sofoklis Theodoridis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Othonoí Stadium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sofoklis Theodoridis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandros Krevetzakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Christos Kyriakopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asteras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Othonoí Stadium the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Asteras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Kyriakopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Asteras FC's Evaggelos Kakalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Theodoridis in the 26th minute of play. If Alexandros Krevetzakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaggelos Kakalos had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sofoklis Theodoridis from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Christos Kyriakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Evaggelos Kakalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofoklis Theodoridis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandros Krevetzakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandros Krevetzakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Evaggelos Kakalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Michalis Tsakarelidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraklis Valassis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sofoklis Theodoridis to strike the kick off in the second half. Evaggelos Kakalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sofoklis Theodoridis went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Theofanis Paschalidis fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Othonoí Stadium's protests and gave Theofanis Paschalidis a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the match, Michalis Tsakarelidis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Othonoí Stadium's Iraklis Valassis. Iraklis Valassis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Sofoklis Theodoridis notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Asteras FC's Evaggelos Kakalos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vaios Konstantinou in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iraklis Valassis saved Othonoí Stadium from getting behind. When Christos Kyriakopoulos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. A collision led to Asteras FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Christos Kyriakopoulos hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Othonoí Stadium had played much better football throughout.
