Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giannis Nikolaou started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Pieria fc's goal looked a bit too open when Nikiforos Stergiadis came free, but Babbis Seretis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manogister C.t.W.'s Vaggelis Kokkalas got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoros Daskalakis in the 19th minute of play forced Pieria fc's goalkeeper Babbis Seretis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Babbis Seretis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoros Daskalakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pieria fc's goalkeeper Babbis Seretis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidoros Daskalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Babbis Seretis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babbis Seretis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoros Daskalakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikiforos Stergiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Seretis having to interfere. Isidoros Daskalakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Babbis Seretis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikiforos Stergiadis in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikiforos Stergiadis in the 40th minute of play forced Pieria fc's goalkeeper Babbis Seretis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stavros Stamatelakoss short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Ignatios Zabetas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Manogister C.t.W. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoros Daskalakis made a kick off. Ignatios Zabetas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Nikolaou, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Isidoros Daskalakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manogister C.t.W.'s Nikiforos Stergiadis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Isidoros Daskalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Seretis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stavros Stamatelakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignatios Zabetas having to interfere. Aris Zounis charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aris Zounis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pieria fc's Aris Zounis got a free kick in the 80th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Manogister C.t.W.'s Fotis Drambas tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Babbis Seretis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikiforos Stergiadis in the 83rd minute. Giannis Nikolaou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manogister C.t.W.'s zone, Giannis Nikolaou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignatios Zabetas came out of the goal and Giannis Nikolaou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giannis Nikolaou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
