Spectators: 7675 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Toumpa's Konstantinos Stagos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Konstantinos Stagos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konstantinos Stagos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaggelos Kakalos having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Vaios Konstantinou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asteras FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaios Konstantinou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konstantinos Stagos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaggelos Kakalos having to interfere. The supporters of Asteras FC booed when Toumpa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantinos Stagos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Michalis Tsakarelidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Kavaliaratos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostas Kavaliaratos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaios Konstantinou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaios Konstantinou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Konstantinos Stagos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Pavlos Thanopoulos in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Toumpa's Ilias Roumeliotis. Ilias Roumeliotis might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaggelos Kakalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilias Roumeliotis ran back to his position shaking his head. Christos Kyriakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Toumpa's goal looked a bit too open when Vaios Konstantinou came free, but Kostas Kavaliaratos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vaios Konstantinou came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Asteras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaios Konstantinou couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Vaios Konstantinou made the kick off in the second half. Vaios Konstantinous short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Kostas Kavaliaratos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaios Konstantinou in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostas Kavaliaratos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 minutes, Vaios Konstantinou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asteras FC and the Toumpa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vaios Konstantinou hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A hard shot 72 in the game by Michalis Tsakarelidis from a close distance when the talented Kostas Kavaliaratos managed to make a qualified save. Toumpa's players were relieved. Ilias Roumeliotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Alketas Kapetanopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Evaggelos Kakalos. Asteras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. There was no doubt that Toumpa were the better team. Toumpa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
