Alexandros Skatzos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ilias Kakaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Palio Kavalas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Koulakiotis to maneuver through the defense. Ilias Kakaris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandros Skatzos in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Palio Kavalas FC's Ilias Kakaris got control of the ball when Grigoris Robos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giorgos Michaloliakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Makis Schinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Makis Schinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Periklis Kifonidis made the kick off in the second half. Marios Stelakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Kakaris having to interfere. Ilias Kakaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Michaloliakos in the 54th minute of play. Giorgos Michaloliakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alexandros Skatzos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Káto Pedhiná FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Skatzos. Giorgos Michaloliakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Káto Pedhiná FC's goal looked a bit too open when Periklis Kifonidis came free, but Giorgos Sachinidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilias Kakaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Skatzos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 78 minutes, Alexandros Skatzos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Káto Pedhiná FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandros Skatzos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Giorgos Michaloliakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Kakaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandros Skatzos struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ilias Kakaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Káto Pedhiná FC. The supporters of Palio Kavalas FC booed when Káto Pedhiná FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marios Stelakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Sachinidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Periklis Kifonidis in the 93rd minute of play. Káto Pedhiná FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
