After a defensive mix-up in TOPMUG Niki Volou's zone, Alexandros Krevetzakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Solakis came out of the goal and Alexandros Krevetzakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Othonoí Stadium's Sofoklis Theodoridis in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The long shot by Thodoris Borbokis in the 60th minute really tested Iraklis Valassis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Sofoklis Theodoridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Othonoí Stadium's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofoklis Theodoridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Solakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apostolikas Asimidis during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, TOPMUG Niki Volou's Apostolikas Asimidis got a free kick in the 63rd minute.
