Alexandros Dimopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Charalambos Passalis made a huge save. In the 4th match minute, DownTown Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Papadamakis to maneuver through the defense. After 9 minutes, Odysseas Abelas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DownTown Boys and the Larαnia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Odysseas Abelas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Lazaros Dimitratos came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the DownTown Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lazaros Dimitratos couldn't finish the play. Vaios Eleftheratos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Charalambos Passalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandros Dimopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Charalambos Passalis made a huge save. After having played for 22 minutes, Vaios Eleftheratos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larαnia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaios Eleftheratos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sakis Xidianakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lazaros Dimitratos's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Dimosthenis Papafotoulis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sakis Xidianakis. Larαnia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 46 minutes in the game, Vaios Eleftheratos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Charalambos Passalis having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lazaros Dimitratos to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Larαnia's zone, Lazaros Dimitratos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakis Xidianakis came out of the goal and Lazaros Dimitratos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaios Eleftheratos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avraam Patemtzis charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avraam Patemtzis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes DownTown Boys got a freekick which was hit by Avraam Patemtzis. In the 62nd minute, Lazaros Dimitratos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaios Eleftheratos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charalambos Passalis having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Vaios Eleftheratos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanos Triantopoulos hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Larαnia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fanis Papathomas to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Lakis Blatsios in the 88th minute really tested Sakis Xidianakis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alexandros Dimopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charalambos Passalis having to interfere. Charalambos Passalis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaios Eleftheratos, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Larαnia had won after a very even match.
