After a defensive mix-up in KFC red roosters's zone, Achilleas Voulgarakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renos Sakallieros came out of the goal and Achilleas Voulgarakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alekos Fragoulakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renos Sakallieros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alekos Fragoulakis's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Kefaloulis in the 21st minute of play forced Αrdhosos FC's goalkeeper Nontas Asimoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nontas Asimoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michalis Kefaloulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentinos Varveris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nontas Asimoulis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Michalis Kefaloulis took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nontas Asimoulis. Nontas Asimoulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentinos Varveris in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nontas Asimoulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michalis Kefaloulis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentinos Varveris struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Nontas Asimoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC red roosters. Kostas Georgiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renos Sakallieros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alekos Fragoulakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renos Sakallieros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alekos Fragoulakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Kostas Georgiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renos Sakallieros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Fragoulakis in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Nikolas Petriniotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentinos Varveris scored 0-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nontas Asimoulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Michalis Kefaloulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nontas Asimoulis was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Valentinos Varveris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michalis Kefaloulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nontas Asimoulis having to interfere. KFC red roosters's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
