Kosmas Niarchos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 8 played minutes Zαrka got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Leontaras. Lambros Belevonis's late challenge caught a Zαrka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lambros Belevonis helped the player get up and apologised. Zαrka's Panagiotis Boukouvalas got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenios Kavourakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stratos Charalambakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Pakhtouri booed when Zαrka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stergios Stelatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenios Kavourakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenios Kavourakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Stratos Charalambakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eutichios Droumalias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eugenios Kavourakos came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Pakhtouri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenios Kavourakos couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Louis Saleas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenios Kavourakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Louis Saleas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pakhtouri's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Saleas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stratos Charalambakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Eugenios Kavourakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stratos Charalambakis. Zαrka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenios Kavourakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, Zαrka's Stratos Charalambakis got control of the ball when Eugenios Kavourakos tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louis Saleas was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Emmanouil Gavrilidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pakhtouri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zαrka the free kick. In the 64th minute, Nestoras Giannakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Louis Saleas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Saleas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Stratos Charalambakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stratos Charalambakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Saleas in the 71st minute of play. Stratos Charalambakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenios Kavourakos in the 77th minute of the match. Panagiotis Boukouvalas might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kosmas Niarchos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panagiotis Boukouvalas ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Zαrka getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Leonidas Tebelopoulos hit a great ball. If Eugenios Kavourakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Konstantinos Ouzounidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louis Saleas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zαrka's Stratos Charalambakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Saleas in the 92nd minute of play.
