Thomas Alevizos tried in the game's 79th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Kosmas Niarchos. Valerios Perakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kosmas Niarchos having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match, Valerios Perakoglou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kosmas Niarchos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 91 played minutes Michalis Zelelidis rounded Pakhtouri's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. When the match was over DANAOS AE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pakhtouri throughout the match.
