Themos Pavlakoglou started the match with the kick off. A collision led to galaxy getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alexis Parmenidis hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Poliani's Tasos Zisimopoulos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Anthimos Katsidimas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Paraskevas Kokkosalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Poliani got a freekick which was hit by Takis Giannou. In the 17th minute, Savas Ntountas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Savas Ntountas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Errikos Moustakidis having to make a save. Themos Pavlakoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Paraskevas Kokkosalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play galaxy's Thodoris Seichanidis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to galaxy getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Thodoris Seichanidis hit a great ball. Poliani's Anthimos Katsidimas got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Themos Pavlakoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Paraskevas Kokkosalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, galaxy's goalkeeper Paraskevas Kokkosalis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthimos Katsidimas. Themos Pavlakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paraskevas Kokkosalis having to interfere. Paraskevas Kokkosalis made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Anthimos Katsidimas sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Savas Ntountas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panos Skouras was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthimos Katsidimas in the 56th minute of play forced galaxy's goalkeeper Paraskevas Kokkosalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Takis Giannou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paraskevas Kokkosalis having to interfere. In the 64th minute Anthimos Katsidimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paraskevas Kokkosalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraskevas Kokkosalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Pavlakoglou in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Periklis Tatsos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poliani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave galaxy the free kick. Periklis Tatsos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Panos Skouras scored 0-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Errikos Moustakidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Poliani's Themos Pavlakoglou in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye galaxy's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Pavlakoglou in the 87th minute of play forced galaxy's goalkeeper Paraskevas Kokkosalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anthimos Katsidimas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Poliani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthimos Katsidimas couldn't finish the play. Panos Skouras struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Errikos Moustakidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for galaxy. The galaxy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
