Konstantinos Vouzakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lambros Kalikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Konstantinos Vouzakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elimbos FC. Alexis Markos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Elimbos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Savas Kolotoubis came free, but Giorgos Kesanopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Dhonιοka BC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaggelos Papanagiotou came free, but Konstantinos Vouzakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Savas Kolotoubis to strike the kick off in the second half. Konstantinos Vouzakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaggelos Papanagiotou in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Elimbos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Markos came free, but Giorgos Kesanopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konstantinos Vouzakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaggelos Papanagiotou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markos Papoutsas shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Giorgos Kesanopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Markos in the 99th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
