Nikiforos Papacharalabous made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savas Ntountas in the 29th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Sotiris Aggelidis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, galaxy's Paraskevas Kokkosalis got control of the ball when Panos Platonidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Thodoris Seichanidis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Peristeri A.E's Nikiforos Papacharalabous. Nikiforos Papacharalabous was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Peristeri A.E's Panos Platonidis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paraskevas Kokkosalis. That made the score 2-1 after 45 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Panos Platonidis took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paraskevas Kokkosalis. Paraskevas Kokkosalis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Peristeri A.E's Panos Platonidis in 56 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Paraskevas Kokkosalis guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Paraskevas Kokkosalis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panos Platonidis's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Panos Platonidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paraskevas Kokkosalis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of galaxy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Peristeri A.E:s goal. Paraskevas Kokkosalis had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Lambros Papachantzoulis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76th minute, Panos Platonidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paraskevas Kokkosalis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 79 minutes into the match, galaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Platonidis came free, but Paraskevas Kokkosalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panos Platonidis struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Paraskevas Kokkosalis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peristeri A.E. If Sotiris Aggelidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraskevas Kokkosalis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Panos Platonidis went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score.
