In the 11th match minute, Perdhνki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlassis Tziortzopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Paraskevas Savouridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Oxford University getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Akakios Anastasiou hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaggelis Papagiannis in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentinos Kyriakakoglou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vlassis Tziortzopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikos Migas's late challenge caught a Oxford University's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Migas helped the player get up and apologised. Nikos Migas kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Vlassis Tziortzopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Perdhνki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Nikolaidis to maneuver through the defense. Orestis Vouzas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Giorgos Karouzos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Antonis Tsigos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perdhνki's Giorgos Karouzos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonis Tsigos made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Giorgos Zoras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, Oxford University's Antonis Tsigos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Karouzos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Antonis Tsigos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Papagiannis had several of the Oxford University's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Valentinos Kyriakakoglou as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 69th match minute, Perdhνki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Gaitanakos to maneuver through the defense. When Orestis Vouzas came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Oxford University fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orestis Vouzas couldn't finish the play. Antonis Tsigos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Karouzos having to interfere. If Vlassis Tziortzopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlassis Tziortzopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentinos Kyriakakoglou having to make a save. Perdhνki's Vlassis Tziortzopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Perdhνki's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
