If Anthimos Katsidimas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaggelos Papanagiotou in the 10th minute of play forced Poliani's goalkeeper Errikos Moustakidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lambros Kalikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errikos Moustakidis having to interfere. Themos Pavlakoglou in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Giorgos Kesanopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elimbos FC's Giorgos Kesanopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Elimbos FC from getting a goal against them. Evaggelos Papanagiotou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errikos Moustakidis having to interfere. Vassilis Evaggelliou kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Themos Pavlakoglou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giorgos Kesanopoulos. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Giorgos Kesanopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themos Pavlakoglou in the 35th minute of play. Poliani's Errikos Moustakidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambros Kalikis in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Poliani's goal looked a bit too open when Lambros Kalikis came free, but Errikos Moustakidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Poliani getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Periklis Tatsos hit a great ball. When Takis Giannou fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poliani's protests and gave Takis Giannou a yellow card for diving instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Themos Pavlakoglou took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giorgos Kesanopoulos. Giorgos Kesanopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 67th minute, Evaggelos Papanagiotou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poliani were furious when Panos Fanakoglou was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Errikos Moustakidis went to the wrong direction when Vassilis Evaggelliou was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Evaggelos Papanagiotou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lambros Kalikis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Errikos Moustakidis 84 minutes into the match. Giorgos Kesanopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthimos Katsidimas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 minutes, Lambros Kalikis made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Poliani's Errikos Moustakidis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
