Konstantinos Stamatelopoulos's late challenge caught a INTER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantinos Stamatelopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paparians getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Konstantinos Stamatelopoulos hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Konstantinos Gialesakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacharias Papaiakovou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paparians's Stratos Karakonstantinou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fanis Farmakidis in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Michalis Kaliris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stamatis Tsirkos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Stratos Karakonstantinou made a huge save. Michalis Kaliris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Stratos Karakonstantinou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the INTER FC defense, Konstantinos Stamatelopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacharias Papaiakovou. The INTER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacharias Papaiakovou should have stopped the shot. Eugenios Michail hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Michalis Kaliris managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michalis Kaliris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stratos Karakonstantinou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Paparians's zone, Fanis Farmakidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stratos Karakonstantinou came out of the goal and Fanis Farmakidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fanis Farmakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michalis Kaliris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Stratos Karakonstantinou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Michalis Kaliris came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Kaliris couldn't finish the play. If Fanis Farmakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zinon Liadelis to make the kick off. After some careless play in the INTER FC defense, Konstantinos Stamatelopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacharias Papaiakovou. The INTER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacharias Papaiakovou should have stopped the shot. Stamatis Tsirkos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Stratos Karakonstantinou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michalis Kaliris in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stratos Karakonstantinou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Giorgos Sfiggopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, INTER FC's Stamatis Tsirkos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zacharias Papaiakovou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstantinos Gialesakis in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Fanis Farmakidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stratos Karakonstantinou was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Zinon Liadelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Stratos Karakonstantinou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Michalis Kaliris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stamatis Tsirkos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stratos Karakonstantinou having to interfere. INTER FC's Michalis Kaliris got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paparians's Stratos Karakonstantinou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamatis Tsirkos in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Konstantinos Stamatelopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Paparians were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant INTER FC side.
