Spectators: 7430 (Terracing: 5830, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Savas Kolotoubis started the match with the kick off. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Theagenis Sousanis hit a great ball. If Stamatis Tsirkos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. INTER FC's Michalis Kaliris got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michalis Kaliris took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantinos Vouzakis. Konstantinos Vouzakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dhonιοka BC's Konstantinos Vouzakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinon Liadelis in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Fanis Farmakidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantinos Vouzakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, INTER FC's Stamatis Tsirkos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstantinos Vouzakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fanis Farmakidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fanis Farmakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Vouzakis came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by INTER FC's Fanis Farmakidis. But to his dismay, Fanis Farmakidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 37 minutes, Stratos Poursaitidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stratos Poursaitidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Stamatis Tsirkos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konstantinos Vouzakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamatis Tsirkos in the 42nd minute of the match. When Michalis Kaliris came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Kaliris couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zinon Liadelis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stamatis Tsirkos in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantinos Vouzakis saved Dhonιοka BC from getting behind. Michalis Kaliris struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Konstantinos Vouzakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. 65 minutes into the game, Nikos Samaras threw the ball into play from the sideline. INTER FC's Fanis Farmakidis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dhonιοka BC's Konstantinos Vouzakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Dhonιοka BC from getting a goal against them. Fanis Farmakidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstantinos Vouzakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. When Michalis Kaliris came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Kaliris couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, INTER FC's Zinon Liadelis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Konstantinos Vouzakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinon Liadelis in the 74th minute of the match. Dhonιοka BC's Konstantinos Vouzakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Dhonιοka BC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 85 minutes, Gilbert Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Månsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Michalis Kaliris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as INTER FC's Michalis Kaliris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Konstantinos Vouzakis. That made the score 0-6 after 89 minutes of play. INTER FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
