Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Savas Ntountas started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savas Kolotoubis in the 2nd minute of play forced galaxy's goalkeeper Paraskevas Kokkosalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraskevas Kokkosalis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Savas Kolotoubis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Dhonιοka BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanasis Dellas to maneuver through the defense. Paraskevas Kokkosalis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexis Markos went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 16 played minutes Dhonιοka BC got a freekick which was hit by Panos Karagiozoglou. Konstantinos Vouzakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Skouras in the 19th minute of the match. When Savas Ntountas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the galaxy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savas Ntountas couldn't finish the play. After 30 minutes of play, Dhonιοka BC's Alexis Markos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paraskevas Kokkosalis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The galaxy fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when galaxy's Savas Ntountas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. galaxy's Paraskevas Kokkosalis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save galaxy from getting a goal against them. When Savas Kolotoubis came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Dhonιοka BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savas Kolotoubis couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alexis Markos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhonιοka BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Markos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paraskevas Kokkosalis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panos Skouras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstantinos Vouzakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Savas Kolotoubis was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dhonιοka BC's goalkeeper Konstantinos Vouzakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind galaxy's goalkeeper Paraskevas Kokkosalis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Konstantinos Vouzakis was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Savas Ntountas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Savas Ntountas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 60th minute of the match, Panos Skouras got a very nice opportunity to score, but Konstantinos Vouzakis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alexis Markos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Savas Kolotoubis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thodoris Seichanidis's late challenge caught a Dhonιοka BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thodoris Seichanidis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to galaxy getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Thodoris Seichanidis hit a great ball. Alexis Markos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paraskevas Kokkosalis having to interfere. Savas Kolotoubis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dhonιοka BC's Konstantinos Vouzakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savas Ntountas in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dhonιοka BC's Thomas Kalantzidis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes, Panos Choutos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dhonιοka BC and the galaxy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panos Choutos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Charalambos Bourousis's shot from long distance in the 75th minute was not bad at all, but Dhonιοka BC's Konstantinos Vouzakis knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 85th minute Savas Ntountas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantinos Vouzakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Thomas Kalantzidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savas Ntountas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
