Perdhνki's Vlassis Tziortzopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthimos Katsidimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Perdhνki getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Paraskevas Savouridis hit a great ball. Giorgos Karouzos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tasos Zisimopoulos. 30 minutes into the match, Poliani's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Papagiannis came free, but Errikos Moustakidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themos Pavlakoglou in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgos Karouzos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaggelis Papagiannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iakovos Papadogiorgakis charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vaggelis Papagiannis made a kick off. Giorgos Karouzos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themos Pavlakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poliani's goalkeeper Errikos Moustakidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Perdhνki booed when Poliani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takis Giannou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Errikos Moustakidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
