Spectators: 7684 (Terracing: 5766, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zinon Liadelis started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, LinkinPark's Alexandros Vidalis got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Stamatis Tsirkos came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Tsirkos couldn't finish the play. Michalis Kaliris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sotiris Geronimidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zinon Liadelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fanis Farmakidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Månsson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sotiris Geronimidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. Zinon Liadelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was a brilliant solo performance by INTER FC's Gilbert Månsson when he shot the ball into the net to 1-0 in the 43rd minute. Stamatis Tsirkos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandros Vidalis was the one to do the kick off. Sotiris Geronimidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zinon Liadelis went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Michalis Kaliris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotiris Geronimidis having to interfere. INTER FC's Gilbert Månsson got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamatis Tsirkos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sotiris Geronimidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fanis Farmakidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind LinkinPark's goalkeeper Sotiris Geronimidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Michalis Kaliris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michalis Kaliris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sotiris Geronimidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michalis Kaliris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stamatis Tsirkos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sotiris Geronimidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fanis Farmakidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinon Liadelis in the 95th minute of play forced LinkinPark's goalkeeper Sotiris Geronimidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. INTER FC fully deserved thier win.
