Panos Platonidis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Konstantinos Vouzakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Panos Platonidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes of play, Dhonιοka BC's Savas Kolotoubis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikiforos Papacharalabous was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Panos Platonidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panos Platonidiss short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Konstantinos Vouzakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Peristeri A.E's Nikiforos Papacharalabous played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Kalantzidis in the 21st minute of play. Alexis Markos's late challenge caught a Peristeri A.E's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexis Markos helped the player get up and apologised. When Panos Platonidis came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Peristeri A.E fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panos Platonidis couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Peristeri A.E's Panos Platonidis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Konstantinos Vouzakis. Konstantinos Vouzakis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Konstantinos Vouzakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Platonidis in the 39th minute of the match. Sotiris Aggelidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikiforos Papacharalabous showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Choutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With his leg Konstantinos Vouzakis managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Peristeri A.E's Panos Platonidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Panos Platonidis made a kick off. Lambros Papachantzoulis scored 3-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantinos Vouzakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sotiris Aggelidis came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Peristeri A.E fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Aggelidis couldn't finish the play. Konstantinos Vouzakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Platonidis in the 60th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Peristeri A.E got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Kalifoulis. Markos Papoutsas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Panos Platonidis put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Konstantinos Vouzakis. If Sotiris Aggelidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panos Platonidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Vouzakis having to interfere. When Sotiris Aggelidis came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Peristeri A.E fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Aggelidis couldn't finish the play. Panos Platonidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konstantinos Vouzakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sotiris Aggelidis went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Konstantinos Vouzakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Platonidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sotiris Aggelidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinos Vouzakis having to interfere. Konstantinos Vouzakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Platonidis in the 92nd minute of play. Panos Platonidis scored 7-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstantinos Vouzakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peristeri A.E had played much better football throughout.
