If Panos Platonidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lambros Papachantzoulis struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peristeri A.E. Panos Platonidis in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valentinos Kyriakakoglou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Peristeri A.E booed when Oxford University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akakios Anastasiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panos Platonidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Alexiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panos Platonidis had several of the Oxford University's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Valentinos Kyriakakoglou as he didn't even see the shot coming. Peristeri A.E's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
