If Stamatis Zigos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kokkinitsa's Demis Kimisis got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kokkinitsa's zone, Stamatis Zigos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Giotos came out of the goal and Stamatis Zigos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Kokkinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Stamatis Zigos came free, but Kostas Giotos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Final Fantasy FC's Alketas Stefanopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iason Tsartsalis in the 28th minute of play. Alketas Stefanopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iason Tsartsalis in the 36th minute of the match. Alketas Stefanopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timos Seremeglis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stamatis Zigos made the kick off in the second half. Final Fantasy FC's Alketas Stefanopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iason Tsartsalis in the 52nd minute of play. Kokkinitsa were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Final Fantasy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Achilleas Bikas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Achilleas Bikas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alketas Stefanopoulos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stamatis Zigos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kostas Giotos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Themis Karabogias's late challenge caught a Final Fantasy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Themis Karabogias helped the player get up and apologised. Themis Karabogias kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Renos Topouzoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Giotos having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Final Fantasy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iason Tsartsalis came free, but Alketas Stefanopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthimos Pirovolikos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Stamatis Zigos came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Final Fantasy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Zigos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Zigos in the 76th minute of play forced Kokkinitsa's goalkeeper Kostas Giotos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kostas Giotos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorotheos Liaskovitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Alketas Stefanopoulos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dimitris Karalis might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alketas Stefanopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitris Karalis ran back to his position shaking his head. After 88 played minutes Final Fantasy FC got a freekick which was hit by Renos Topouzoglou. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaios Katzelis during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vaios Katzelis kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Stamatis Zigos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
