Menios Kalafatakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viktoras Thomakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Menios Kalafatakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktoras Thomakos got free with Menios Kalafatakis in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitris Klonaridis charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Renos Matsas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sakis Kalabalikis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thanos Kaminaridis during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
