Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 5th minute of play forced BesiktasCarsi's goalkeeper Menios Kalafatakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Veniamin Klotsidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Menios Kalafatakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 12 minutes into the match, BesiktasCarsi's goalkeeper Menios Kalafatakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thanasis Souliopoulos. Panos Gabriilidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Kalafatakis having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, BesiktasCarsi's goalkeeper Menios Kalafatakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panos Gabriilidis. A collision led to BesiktasCarsi getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Loukianos Rozaklis hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Thanasis Souliopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Trikala F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 35 minutes in the game, Thanasis Souliopoulos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Menios Kalafatakis having to interfere. Thanasis Souliopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Menios Kalafatakis made a huge save. Lefteris Pikilidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trikala F.C.'s Panos Gabriilidis suffered a sore foot after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Loukianos Rozaklis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Thanasis Souliopoulos shot from long distance after 44 played minutes, a shot that Menios Kalafatakis with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Thanasis Souliopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Menios Kalafatakis made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes, Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Menios Kalafatakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trikala F.C. reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Manos Katsios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trikala F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manos Katsios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Menios Kalafatakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, BesiktasCarsi's Renos Matsas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 61 minutes into the match, Trikala F.C.'s goalkeeper Theofanis Abelas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Notis Papakostis. Notis Papakostis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Theofanis Abelas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 64 minutes into the game, Manos Katsios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trikala F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BesiktasCarsi the free kick. Manos Katsios kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Menios Kalafatakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanasis Souliopoulos's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Manos Katsios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Menios Kalafatakis having to make a save. After having played for 77 minutes, Manos Katsios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trikala F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Manos Katsios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Trikala F.C.'s Lefteris Pikilidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Menios Kalafatakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trikala F.C.'s attentive Thanasis Souliopoulos managed to snatch the ball when Nikolas Bonovas made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. When Thanasis Souliopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Trikala F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanasis Souliopoulos couldn't finish the play. In the 84th match minute, BesiktasCarsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukianos Rozaklis to maneuver through the defense. BesiktasCarsi's Menios Kalafatakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 85th minute of play. Menios Kalafatakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lefteris Pikilidis in the 88th minute of the match. Lefteris Pikilidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Fotis Tziortzopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Thanasis Souliopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Menios Kalafatakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. There was no doubt that Trikala F.C. were the better team. Trikala F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
