The referee showed Chatziantoniou Vitalis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Trikala F.C. booed when Olympiakos S.F. Pagou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chatziantoniou Vitalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Thanasis Souliopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grigoris Kokakias was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Theofanis Abelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziantoniou Vitalis in the 92nd minute of the match. Panos Gabriilidis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Trikala F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
