Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thanasis Souliopoulos took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Panos Gabriilidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sakis Tsigas was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakis Tsigas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sakis Tsigas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Gabriilidis in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sakis Tsigas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manos Katsios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakis Tsigas having to interfere. During the 10th minute of the match Charalambos Stenos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Charalambos Stenos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Agia Sofia's Charalambos Stenos got a free kick in the 10th minute. Sakis Tsigas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanasis Souliopoulos's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sakis Tsigas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Agia Sofia's goal looked a bit too open when Manos Katsios came free, but Sakis Tsigas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trikala F.C. were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Agia Sofia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Panos Gabriilidis took the corner. The corner led to Trikala F.C.'s Fotis Tziortzopoulos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Panos Gabriilidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sakis Tsigas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakis Tsigas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 19th minute of play. Panos Gabriilidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Thanasis Souliopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trikala F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Thanasis Souliopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Agia Sofia's goalie prevented a goal. The Trikala F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Trikala F.C.'s Thanasis Souliopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Panos Gabriilidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sakis Tsigas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46th play minutes Thanasis Souliopoulos shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Sakis Tsigas and just under the crossbar into goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Minas Matzios to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Trikala F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Christos Kalakos hit a great ball. Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sakis Tsigas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manos Katsios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Souliopoulos in the 63rd minute of play forced Agia Sofia's goalkeeper Sakis Tsigas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Thanasis Souliopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Sakis Tsigas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68thth minute of the game Thanasis Souliopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agia Sofia's Sakis Tsigas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Thanasis Souliopoulos put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Sakis Tsigas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manos Katsios during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Trikala F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manos Katsios. 80 minutes into the match, Agia Sofia's Stathis Kechribaris broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sakis Tsigas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanasis Souliopoulos's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Thanasis Souliopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trikala F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Thanasis Souliopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakis Tsigas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sakis Tsigas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Souliopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes in the game, Thanasis Souliopoulos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.
