Pasαs BC's Alekos Irinopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Pasαs BC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Ignatios Sabanis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pasαs BC's Kostas Chatzoudis got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Kostas Chatzoudis off the ground. The supporters of Genésio BC booed when Pasαs BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Chatzoudis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktoras Thomakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pasαs BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Alekos Irinopoulos, was totally fooled by Genésio BC's Thrasivoulos Vezirgiannidis, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sakis Kalabalikis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Notis Apostolakoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Notis Apostolakoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sakis Kalabalikis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakis Kalabalikis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Notis Apostolakoglou went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Ignatios Sabanis fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pasαs BC's protests and gave Ignatios Sabanis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Ignatios Sabanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Viktoras Thomakos came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Genésio BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktoras Thomakos couldn't finish the play. When Daniil Piomenos fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Genésio BC's protests and gave Daniil Piomenos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Genésio BC's Daniil Piomenos got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Notis Apostolakoglou to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Notis Apostolakoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasαs BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Notis Apostolakoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakis Kalabalikis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sakis Kalabalikis made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Chatziantoniou Kyriazis sent off a good shot on target. After 56 minutes, Zacharias Tsartas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Genésio BC and the Pasαs BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute Pasαs BC were awarded a corner. Marios Staramopoulos went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktoras Thomakos in the 71st minute of play forced Pasαs BC's goalkeeper Alekos Irinopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Notis Apostolakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alekos Irinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktoras Thomakos in the 77th minute of the match. Genésio BC's Viktoras Thomakos got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Notis Apostolakoglou made a precise shot to the right of Sakis Kalabalikis. Genésio BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Pasαs BC's zone, Viktoras Thomakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alekos Irinopoulos came out of the goal and Viktoras Thomakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Viktoras Thomakos came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Genésio BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktoras Thomakos couldn't finish the play. Pasαs BC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
