Spectators: 6856 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Theagenis Dentsas kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Manos Valkanis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Velentzikó BC's Petros Poursalidis. Petros Poursalidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ermis Vasilomichelakis scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petros Poursalidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lambros Pountidis scored 0-3 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petros Poursalidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Velentzikó BC's goal looked a bit too open when Stamatis Fragos came free, but Petros Poursalidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fivos Kolokithopoulos in the 32nd minute of play forced Velentzikó BC's goalkeeper Petros Poursalidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manos Valkanis took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petros Poursalidis. Petros Poursalidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Giorgos Salpiggidis made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Christos Ivanidis sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Christos Ivanidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giorgos Salpiggidis. Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christos Ivanidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. 42 minutes into the match, Velentzikó BC's goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Tsalouchidis came free, but Petros Poursalidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Stamatis Fragos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Α.Ο. Σύρου FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermis Vasilomichelakis was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Velentzikó BC's goalkeeper Petros Poursalidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermis Vasilomichelakis. Petros Poursalidis made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ermis Vasilomichelakis sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, Ermis Vasilomichelakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petros Poursalidis. Ermis Vasilomichelakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Ermis Vasilomichelakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Petros Poursalidis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Velentzikó BC's zone, Ermis Vasilomichelakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petros Poursalidis came out of the goal and Ermis Vasilomichelakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Manos Valkanis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Petros Poursalidis. Petros Poursalidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. Giorgos Salpiggidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Ivanidis in the 71st minute of play. Velentzikó BC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Fivos Kolokithopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Petros Poursalidis, making the score, 1-10. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Fivos Kolokithopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 1-11 without a chance for Petros Poursalidis to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Fivos Kolokithopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 1-12 without a chance for Petros Poursalidis to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Α.Ο. Σύρου FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Velentzikó BC.
